CAKE SMASH PHOTOSHOOT INFORMATION
time flies! your baby is hitting milestone after milestone & it's time to celebrate! what's the perfect way to capture your little one's first birthday? cake smashes!! the cutest + possibly messiest moments to remember of your baby turning one!
WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY CAKE SMASH PHOTOSHOOT?
1-2 months in advance to ensure I have all the things color theme related & special orders ready to go!
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
please bring anything to drink during cake time such as water or milk. a birthday outfit to match the color theme, a change of clothes, a toy your baby absolutely loves! parent will bring the cake due to allergy concerns. If you need recommendations on where to order a specialized cake, please feel free to ask!
HOW LONG IS A CAKE SMASH SESSION?
approximately 45 minutes up to 2 hours depending on chosen package. it will also depend on how long it will take for your baby to start smashing the cake! some babies will take a while & some will just go for it
tips: offer cake to your little one prior to the cake smash session. babies who have a taste of sugar and is familiar with it tends to have more fun compared to babies who haven't had sugar before. give them a cupcake and let them smash away!
WHEN & WHERE WILL THE PHOTOSHOOT TAKE PLACE?
the best time to take cake smash photos is between 11-13 months old. please schedule at least 3 weeks ahead of time if you would like to use the photos for your little one's first birthday party.
first birthday photoshoots are held in my cozy home studio in sunnyvale or outdoor location depending on chosen package!
