NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT INFORMATION

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT?

it will be best to schedule your newborn session during your second trimester. although, i am pretty flexible - please feel free to ask!
 

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

please bring diapers, wipes, extra clothing (in case of accidents), brush (if baby has hair), pacifier (if using), and however you are feeding. I provide all the decor, props, and also have a client closet selection available without any additional cost.

HOW LONG IS A NEWBORN SESSION?

starting early morning at 9am, newborn sessions may take up to three hours. it all depends on your boss baby!

WHEN & WHERE WILL THE PHOTOSHOOT TAKE PLACE?

the "best time" to take newborn photos is between 5 to 14 days old. the first couple of weeks, newborns are still very sleepy and peaceful - thus creating great classic newborn photos of your baby all curled up like they were in the womb. it is still possible to take newborn photos after two weeks, but your baby will likely be awake during session. since babies begin stretching & extending their arms + legs after two weeks, opting for different poses & concepts + including baby with clothes on may be considered.

newborn sessions are typically held in my home studio in sunnyvale! I am also open to traveling if you prefer to do the photoshoot in the comfort of your home! there may be an additional cost depending on distance from my studio to your home.
